On That First Christmas NightSarah HolthusenDescription: PRODUKTBESCHREIBUNGEN My husband Josh and I are both Kansas natives. I Sarah (Bogner) Holthusen am from Kingman and Josh is from Atchison. After having met on our first day in college at Benedictine College in Atchison getting married three years later and then graduating we moved to Nashville Tennessee. Along the way we wrote a ton of songs and made some lifelong friends. We pursued our musical dreams in Nashville for nearly seven years. While living there we had two children and after our second child was born we decided that we wanted to move back to Kansas so our children could grow up knowing their grandparents aunts uncles and cousins. We now have five boys...Joseph Matthew Luke Noah and Elijah. We now live write sing play and raise our boys from the heartland in Wichita Kansas. We perform shows sing and play for weddings businesses fairs churches functions etc. If nothing else....we just sing our little boys lullabies as they drift off to sleep. Christmas is one of our favorite times of year! We love listening to holiday music and felt that it was only fitting that we record our own Christmas album. Christmas has always been a magical time for us. From our childhoods when our parents helped form amazing memories for us.....to our first Christmases when we were newly married making traditions that were uniquely our own....and now as we raise our five children and are trying to create moments for them that they will remember forever. It is a holy time....one filled with hope and expectations....hope that by welcoming a new baby into this world our lives will be forever changed by His infinite love His unceasing mercy and His promise of eternal life. Our hope in creating this c.d. is that we can share with you some of our magic of Christmas... as well as sharing the hope of the baby Jesus transforming all of our hearts and lives!
