Sadly the mechanism will not wind up (probably an easy fix) however the scene of the three wise men in 3d and hand painted is in excellent condition, as is the back drop of Bethlehem on the inner lid, ideal as a lovely Christmas decoration, minor wear to outer box but this does not effect the overall condition of this lovely piece.
